This is our original design and what we launched with back in 2017. As you know, the corrugated oem insert is a complete waist of space. Also it kills your knees. This new Mountain Hatch has a spot for those favorite drinks and a new spot to set things in like food trimmings when using it as a cutting board or a spot to set down your phone while setting up camp.
The Mountain Hatch replaces your Toyota Tacoma's OEM tailgate panel to give you a much flatter surface. Now your Tacoma tailgate can serve as table whether tailgating, camping or if just want to set that hot cocoa down. This product is a heavy-duty FDA approved 1/2 inch hdpe with UV inhibitors. Like a cutting board, it is also food safe. Just remove your Toyota Tacoma's factory screws, remove OEM panel and replace with "THE Mountain Hatch" panel which you hand tighten only.
